Kiwanis Pancake Day An age old tradition held annually on the first Saturday in December.

Lake Bogue Homa  This 1,200 acre lake is stocked with bass, bream and channel catfish and offers areas for skiing, swimming and fishing.

Laurel Ballet The guild promotes classical ballet in the schools and sponsors periodic ballet performances.

Laurel Little Theatre Housed in the historic Arabian Theatre, this local group produces four or five plays annually.

Laurel's Sportsplex A  modern multi-use recreational facility which offers soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, nature trails, and an outdoor amphitheater.  Indoor Swimming in an Olympic-size pool, the Laurel Natatorium, is available year-round.

Lauren Rogers Museum of Art Mississippi's first museum, founded in 1922. It is today considered one of the South's premiere galleries.

Main Street Festival This exciting family event each November offers entertainment, arts and crafts and lots of good food!

Magnolia Cruisers Car Show Sponsoring "Make a Wish" located at the South Central Place parking lot on the last Saturday of March. Trophies/Plaques for 7 classes. Raffle item, door prizes, food, entertainment, and fun!

Merchant's Park Sports Complex Located just outside of Ellisville, this complex plays host to many of Jones County's recreational events, including, baseball, softball, and tennis

Rotaryfest Downtown Ellisville plays host to a scholarship fund raiser for Jones County Students on the last Saturday in October.  Hosted by the Rotary Club, this event displays arts & crafts, antiques, collectibles, flea market items, food, and entertainment including local cheerleader squads.

Sertoma Christmas Parade The state's largest parade is held downtown Laurel the first weekend in December. 

South MS Fair Held annually the third week of October, showcasing local talent, midway rides, food and fun for the entire family.
